A Cardiovascular risk factors as smoking, stress, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and climax can cause atherosclerosis. The first stage of atherosclerosis is functional disorder of intima. Intima’s function can be diagnosed by ultrasound examination of the artery of an upper arm.
Our clinic even in international terms was one of the first in using this method for early diagnostics of atherosclerosis to provide to the patients an effective and purposeful prevention. The method is painless, smoking, consumption of fatty food is not allowed before the examination. In case of intima’s function disorder taking into account the root cause we recommend a proper treatment and after 2 months we repeat ultrasound examination.
